Helvars patented method of Optimum Cathode Control, OCC™ has been designed to ensure that the electrical blockpmeters supplied to the lamp are always the best possible resulting in exceptionally high lamp life. OCC™ minimizes the lamp, ballast and system losses, providing the highest energy efficiency available. EL-s/sc were the first ballasts to have a low profile (21mm high) enabling the design of ultra-slim luminaires.
